Coast Chimes provides fast, free shipping to customers in Canada and the USA. However recent changes in importation rules mean that although the wind chimes are tariff free under CUSMA / USMCA, a fairly high brokerage fee is payable to clear customs. Therefore, there is now a $20 charge per item going to the USA, to cover some of that fee. Aside from this new brokerage fee, your order should arrive without any additional tariff fee.

Orders typically ship within 24 hours, weekends and holidays excepted. Most orders ship via courier. Some orders ship via Canada Post / USPS, depending on location. Shipping arrival times typically range from 3-12 business days to anywhere in the USA or Canada. Upgraded shipping is available on the order page for even faster delivery.

taxes and duties 

CANADA: GST / HST and BC PST are collected at the time of check out.

USA: No State taxes are collect at the time of check out. You may, or may not, be charged for those taxes when your order is delivered. Although the $800 De Minimus limit has been removed by the US Government, these wind chimes are completely made in Canada with Canadian materials, so no tariffs should be charged. I provide the necessary documents on the package showing they qualify for CUSMO / USMCA free trade. There is a high brokerage fee, and the $20 per item charge for US orders is to cover part of that fee. Shipping remains free to the USA, but the brokerage fee is partially charged at check out. Aside from that, your order should arrive without any additional fees.

Satisfaction is guaranteed. If for any reason you are not happy, you may return it within 30 days of delivery.

To initiate a return, contact Coast Chimes for approval and instructions. Please note that customers are responsible for return postage, unless the product is broken or defective, in which case Coast Chimes will pay for the postage. You must obtain permission for a return.
