This colorful kaleidoscope wind chime is handcrafted from beautiful artist-made sea glass, copper, and oiled cedar wood. It is certain to be a focal point for any yard, garden, deck or porch. Measuring about 45 inches in length, it features a 10 X 10 inch (diagonal, 7 X 7 square) diamond-shaped box frame loosely filled with  artist-made sea glass morsels that create a sparkling kaleidoscope of colour when the sunlight shines through. The 7 handcrafted genuine copper chimes (not inexpensive powder coated aluminum), range from 18.5 inches to 12.5 inches in length. They will never peel or flake, as they are real, solid copper. When a breeze causes the beach stone clapper to tap the chimes, they produce a gentle calming music that many find more relaxing than the large aluminum chimes, that can at first be impressively loud, but all too often become a nuisance. The sound of copper is more subdued, blending harmoniously with the environment rather than overpowering it, and may be a wise choice for those seeking a more peaceful environment.
