This beautiful kaleidoscope wind chime measures approximately 23 inches in length. It features a diamond box frame measuring 7 x 7 inches diagonally (5 x 5-inch square). Loosely trapped between extra-thick plate glass, artist-made sea glass morsels create a kaleidoscope of colours when illuminated by sunlight.
The three brass chimes are cut from raw brass and treated with a reactive finish that will never peel or flake. They measure 7, 6, and 5 inches in length. They are attached to the handmade copper hanger using 21 strand nylon-coated stainless steel wire and sterling silver crimps. The chimes produce a soft, soothing sound from time to time when the breeze causes them to touch one another.
